Rep. Mike Castle on filibuster reform

Castle is the Republican Senate candidate from Delaware. I asked him if he’d consider joining with other Senators to change the Senate filibuster rules. He said, “I might,” and continued to say that this would be something he may speak about before the election.

  1. I’m honestly a bit surprised by this. I don’t think filibuster reform is something that is on most people’s radar yet. Castle is definitely positioning himself to the left now because he has to rely on the vote of Democrats to get elected.
