Senator Arlen Specter
Interesting that he will criticize his former Republican colleagues for obstruction, but he will not say anything about his independent colleague, Senator Joe Lieberman.

Sorry to admit it, but I have voted for Sen Spector several times. It saddens me that he has turned out to be nothing but a whore. At his age, one would hope that he would no longer sacrifice his dignity.

Hi Mike,
Thank you so much. This is so necessary, I can’t tell you how much your efforts are appreciated. I will be donating to you as soon as I can scrape together the funds. Please keep it up.
PS – How’s the on-line poker going?

Way to go! You are doing such a great job. I’ve added you to my blogroll. We all know that Lieberman is a whore (Senator for Aetna). I think Specter, as the junior senator from Pennsylvania, is not able to make as much of an impact as when he was a Republican in a GOP majority Senate. Also, I’m sure he and other Dems are doing their best not to alienate him completely. Hopefully, during the special election in Janurary for Kennedy’s seat, the Democratic Party can jettison the Senator from Aetna. Still, the biggest worry at this point is Ben Nelson, and his anti-abortion mania. Also, Obama is not showing the leadership we need to push this bill through. He let his advisors and powerplayers in Congress to force him to back off. That was poor advice indeed.
