I continued my talk with Issa after he left the vote. I told him that I really didn’t understand why he’d accuse me of selectively editing my videos to make him look bad.

As an aside for y’all, my viewers, I don’t do that here. Moreover, if any Representative or Senator ever feels they’ve been treated unfairly, something this new form of media allows is for me to post the entire video without any edits at all. I’m always happy to do that.

Anyway, as we continued our conversation, Issa said the question about medical bankruptcies wasn’t fair. I differed. Issa is a Representative; he’s supposed to have the concerns and challenges of his constituents on his mind. Moreover, he couldn’t even tell me how many folks didn’t have health insurance in his district. Instead, he trotted out the same ol’ line about everyone has health care, the problem is too many of them get it at the emergency room.

Anyway, by now I think it’s entirely fair to start directing pointed questions to those that oppose health care reform. And these were, honestly, softballs.

I was curious to see how much the Representatives that oppose health care reform know about their constituents… Do they have any clue how many of them are insured? Uninsured? Suffering through bankruptcy because of medical bills? Here’s Joe Wilson… I wish I could say that I was surprised….
