Rachel has a “point of view”

That’s what Joe Lieberman says when asked if he’ll go on Rachel Maddow’s show to have an honest debate on health care. Evidently that’s a disqualifying attribute so far as Senator for Connecticut is concerned.

No word on why he feels comfortable appearing as a frequent guest on Sean Hannity’s programs.

  1. If you ever talk to him again I’d love it if you could get him to answer the question nobody will ask him. I’ll quote Ezra Klein here:

“But my question is a simple one, and any reporter could ask it: What’s the mechanism by which the public option increases the national deficit?”

Senator Lieberman says he opposes the public option because it is an entitlement that would cost too much, but I’m sure he knows that the public option pays for itself and actually cuts the deficit.

  3. Not to be a schoolmarm, but this isn’t a tea-bagger site… I won’t be punching anyone or threatening violence no matter how much I understand your frustration…

  4. These videos are great. You get to see some unscripted behavior. Lie is totally scripted all the time. He actually believes in his own self-importance. A personality disorder if ever I saw one.
