Every time I see one of these GA republicans, my gag reflex kicks in. My congressman is Jim Marshall. He runs as a democrat, but talks and votes like a republican. Senators Isakson and Chambliss, along with most representatives and senators Georgians send to D.C., are elected only because they say they are pro-life, Christian, pro-gun, pro-small government, or are fiscal conservatives. This is all they have to say to get elected. It doesn't matter that they do very little to help the people on a national or state level, just that they make the voters feel that they fit all of the aforementioned "characteristics." Many of us in GA have been trying to get them to see that these politicians actually work against their interests. It's a difficult job because they believe the lies of these politicians and the Fuchs Noose Network over anything else. Their lack of knowledge of what is really going on in the country is appalling.
